Kansas City Chiefs fans can now claim that they have the loudest fans in the NFL. The Chiefs were able to reach a new record for crowd noise in an outdoor stadium during the Chiefs’ game against the New England Patriots on Monday night. And they didn’t need a stadium specifically designed to amplify sound to do it either.

It’s great to see Arrowhead reclaim their mantle from Seattle after the Seahawks set the record for loudest crowd last year. Now, it’s only a matter of time until Seattle makes a concentrated effort to try and break Arrowhead’s new record because Seahawks fans have way too much invested in their damn 12th man syndrome to let this stand.
