Forget dominating the Little League World Series. Forget the national television appearances. Forget the cover of Sports Illustrated. All of those things are great, but you know you’ve really made it to big time superstar status when Yasiel Puig wants your autograph.
Mo’Ne Davis is now a member of that exclusive club after throwing out the first pitch at Tuesday’s Dodgers game in Los Angeles, where Puig approached the 13-year old pitching phenom for her John Hancock. We can’t blame him either, especially since those signatures are fetching quite a bit of coin on eBay lately. Something tells me Puig won’t be selling his anytime soon.
Here’s video of Mo’Ne tossing out the first pitch, which happened to be a perfect strike. Real shocker there.
