While P.K. Subban is busy sorting out the riches from the huge contract extension he signed with the Canadiens earlier this summer, his younger brothers are busy training for their promising pro hockey careers at the BioSteel Camp this week. Jordan, a 19-year old defenseman in the Vancouver Canucks system, and Malcolm, a 20-year old goaltender for the Boston Bruins’ AHL affiliate, met in a shootout competition at the training camp, where Jordan scored on this absolutely absurd spin-o-rama, alley-oop goal.
Okay, so it’s not exactly legal and won’t ever be useful in an actual game scenario, but it’s still a pretty impressive display of hand-eye coordination by Jordan, who can now remind Malcolm of this highlight at Thanksgiving dinners for years to come.
