Keith Olbermann nailed it earlier, but Stephen A. Smith did not.
This is the worst. On First Take, Stephen A. Smith decided to enlighten all of us with a discussion of women and “elements of provocation.”
We need to learn as much as we can about elements of provocation, not that there is real provocation, but the elements of provocation, you have to make sure you address it.”
Michelle Beadle, also an ESPN employee, didn’t take Smith’s comments too well.
So I was just forced to watch this morning’s First Take. A) I’ll never feel clean again B) I’m now aware that I can provoke my own beating.

I’m thinking about wearing a miniskirt this weekend…I’d hate to think what I’d be asking for by doing so @stephenasmith. #dontprovoke

Beadle is right — it’s bad. So watch at your own risk…
