Metta World Peace’s NBA days are likely numbered so it looks like the 34-year old forward is looking to give the whole rap thing another go. His latest song – called “Thanks Mom, Thanks Dad” – is an ode to his parents for raising him right and not letting him turn into “a monster.”
While the track has a pretty nice beat and it’s always nice to thank your parents, don’t expect the song to land on the Top 40 charts anytime soon. (It stinks, in case you’re not catching my drift here.)
Honestly, I think Clint Dempsey has a better chance at a successful rap career than Ron Ron.
