A Robotic Lionel Messi Is Terrifying Fans At The World Cup

If you’re at the World Cup and you happen to notice a man walking around that looks something like a caricature of Argentinian superstar Lionel Messi, that’s not a man at all – it’s a robot.

Robo Messi was made possible by Globo, a large Brazilian television network that funded the creation of the giant animitronic horror to help with their World Cup coverage and interact with fans.

Seriously though, that thing is scary as hell. I’m surprised people haven’t been sprinting away from this monster. Look, his entire face moves! Ahhgskldgsmgas
