Would you like to attend an NBA playoff game for less than $10? Do you live in the Indianapolis area? Boy, do we have a deal for you! Tonight, you can actually go see a real, live NBA #1 seed — in a playoff game — for the price of a regular season home game of an Eastern Conference cellar dweller!
The Indiana Pacers, fresh off a thorough Game 1 thrashing at the hand of the Atlanta Hawks, are essentially facing a must-win situation Tuesday night to avert total playoff catastrophe. However, a lot of Pacers faithful seem to have given up already, as tickets for Game 2 are going for as little as $7.20 on secondary market site, StubHub. Of course, this doesn’t include any processing fees, but it’ll still probably come out to less than what you’ll end up paying for parking at Bankers Life Fieldhouse.
Oh, and if you’re feeling frisky, a front row court side ticket will only set you back $730 — a steal compared to a similar seat in Miami Wednesday night, which will run you north of $3,000.
Update: If you think that’s bad, at least the Pacers aren’t offering a Living Social deal to entice fans to come to games. The Hawks are running a promotion for Games 3 and 4, which pretty much confirms this series as the saddest in NBA history.
