Oklahoma State’s Marcus Smart, who is a big fan of flopping, lost his composure near the end of the Cowboys’ loss to Texas Tech Saturday night. Smart found himself a couple rows deep on the baseline after a fast break, and was caught on camera shoving a Texas Tech fan. Not smart.
However, it’s worth noting that the Texas Tech fan in question is a known rabble rouser along the baseline, and has been caught on camera before, performing other heckling acts. Also, Smart was visibly upset immediately after the confrontation, and appeared to be trying to explain to everyone — teammates, coaches, referees — what happened. Early reports say that Smart told people that he was called the n-word.
