Finally someone has come up with a suitable new moniker for Washington’s controversial “Redskins” name, the “Naboo Gungans.” While it may not have a great ring to it, the name fits perfectly into a football team in the Star Wars universe. John Raya, an illustrator from Mexico City, has taken all 32 NFL logos into a galaxy far, far away and perfectly reimagined them as if they were in the Star Wars universe. Some of the names and logos are absolutely perfect like the Oakland Raiders turned to the Coruscant Vaders or the San Diego Chargers into the Dorin Lightsabers. However the Raxus Prime Jawas have to be a little upset that they had to be associated with the Cleveland Browns. May the 4th be with you as you check these out.
