A match between Atlético Paranaense and Vasco da Gama in Brazil turned ugly when hordes of fans engaged in a brutal riot that left three people in critical condition, and private security forces using crowd control methods to quell the melee. Tensions were high, as Atlético Paranaense is facing relegation, pending the outcome of the game. The fight started in the Atlético section, and moved quickly towards the Vasco section, in a sequence that looks like something out of a zombie movie.
Warning: the video has some graphic moments, so viewer discretion is advised.
