Johnny Manziel had an interesting first game versus Rice this past Saturday. After sitting out the first half due to an NCAA-imposed suspension, Manziel debuted in glorious fashion, going 6-8 for 94 yards and 3 touchdowns in the second half.
Not only did Johnny Football shine for the Aggies upon his return, his larger-than-life personality continued to show as he was flagged for a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty for taunting Rice players.
However, officials missed another would-be penalty and likely game suspension for this play. No word yet on how much more profit the NCAA stands to make from this play and the football in question.
