Johnny Manziel seems to be a good young man who is having the time of his life being 20 years old. However, that is just the thing… He is 20 years old. I’m not saying it is impossible to be able to handle constant pressure, scrutiny, and people watching your every move with grace, but at some point you are bound to slip up and just want a break. This seems to be the all too familiar ‘struggle’ with athletes, musicians and other famous young talents and it seems like Johnny Football’s time arrived last night. Johnny had a momentary lapse in judgement when he Tweeted his frustrations with being in college. We don’t have the backstory on what set Johnny off, but he apologized shortly thereafter. This is a harmless Tweet at the end of the day but it is a slippery slope.
You can assume Johnny won’t get too much sympathy from the world due to the fact how much he puts himself out there and seems to genuinely enjoy his 20 year-old rockstar life. This could be a very interesting season over at College Station…
