Few things in sports media are more satisfying than an undressing of ESPN’s resident blowhard Skip Bayless (this appearance by Mark Cuban is the greatest example). Unfortunately, ESPN tailors First Take in a manner to avoid such dress-downs, thus relieving Skip of any awkward confrontations. Skip didn’t escape so easily today, as some First Take producer decided it’d be a good idea to get Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman — no stranger to being outspoken, himself — on the air to discuss Skip’s feelings about the All-Pro loud mouth, and his claims of being in the same discussion as Jets corner Darrelle Revis. After what transpired, we’re fairly certain that Sherman won’t be making a return visit for awhile.
