It’s been a tragic and shocking handful of days in the NFL — the disturbing murder/suicide involving Chiefs linebacker Jovan Belcher, the suicide of a Cleveland Browns groundskeeper — and the sports world, in general. Thankfully, we have people like Andre Johnson to brighten the darkest of days. The Houston Texans wide receiver — and all-around awesome dude — posted a photo to Instagram on Tuesday of him holding a Toys “R” Us receipt long enough to make even the most extreme couponer jealous. But Johnson wasn’t out looking for deals. Instead, he (allegedly) dropped $19,521.14 on toys for foster kids in Texas’ Child Protective Services.
