Anthony Davis can pretty much do anything on a basketball court. He can block shots, he can rebound and he can score from the field and the free throw line with great efficiency. And, while he only 1-12 from the 3-point line last season, it sure looks like he can shoot from deep judging by this amazing behind-the-back toss that Davis casually nails in the above video.
During last season’s NBA All-Star Break, Davis spoke of extending his range to include the 3-point shot over the offseason:
Davis, though, seems determined to expand his game, and developing a decent 3-point shot is on his list. He made that declaration over the N.B.A. All-Star break, and he made it sound almost offhand: “In the summertime, I definitely want to try to work on that.”
Not sure if this counts as “working” on one’s 3-point range but it’s certainly terrifying to think of what Anthony Davis could be capable of if he’s able to nail 3-point shots next season with the ease that he hits this trick shot here.
