The Women’s World Cup is just a few days away and we are pretty damn excited.  One of the main story lines leading up to this event has been FIFA’s B.S. idea to use artificial turf at this summer’s Women’s World Cup, and it had led to plenty of controversy (and rightly so). We for one think it is an awful idea and are bummed that the ladies of international soccer aren’t being treated the same as the men. So, we decided to do something about it with our friends over at Scott’s Lawn Care. Scott’s has launched an online petition (check it out here) which reinforces the mantra of “Real Soccer, Real Grass.” The movement has garnered some great support, and we are looking to continue that. We will be hosting a Twitter chat on June 3rd, 2015 at Noon PST/3pm EST and giving away a couple gift cards, all with the purpose of letting folks know that Real Soccer belongs on Real Grass. The hashtag we will be using is #KeepItReal which FIFA has not been doing well.

Join us for the #keepitreal Twitter Party on June 3rd, 2015 at Noon PST/3pm EST

This #keepitreal Twitter Party will be great for 2 reasons:

1. Get loud and show your willingness to contest the unequal playing fields.
