Unrivaled Basketball, an upcoming three-on-three women’s basketball league co-founded by Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, is set to begin in 2025. And it sounds like the league just secured a massive commitment from a major WNBA superstar: Angel Reese.
This week, Unrivaled announced that Chicago Sky rookie sensation Angel Reese had agreed to join the upcoming league which is set to begin in Miami in January 2025.
“THE BARBIE IS UNRIVALED,” Unrivaled announced in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Reese is the first rookie to join the league which currently includes a number of WNBA stars. Chelsea Gray, Arike Ogunbowale, Jewell Loyd, Kelsey Plum, Rhyne Howard, Kahleah Cooper and Jackie Young have all committed to the league.
Needless to say, the announcement that Reese was set to join the league was a big one for both Reese and Unrivaled, and it led to a lot of reactions on social media as a result.

The league features six teams of women’s basketball players that will compete in a three-on-three format. The league will include 30 players, so there is plenty of room for more WNBA stars to join the league in the future.
