It’s not even Opening Day yet and already we’ve seen two players go airborne for incredible plays at the plate this year. The first one came during a college baseball game between Tulane and Xavier earlier this month, and now we have this one – which might be even better – from a recent youth baseball game.
Just look at how easy the baserunner makes it look jumping clean over the backstop. The coolest part, though, is how the kid slaps his hand down on the plate as he lands, securing the safe call and tallying a run for his team. That dude is smooth as hell.
