A middle-aged man was so close to catching and taking home a foul ball to show off to his friends at the local VFW but as he tried to bring in the foul ball it bounced off his glove. The announcers in the booth felt bad for the man and sent a ball down to him to cheer him up.
Duane Kuiper, one half of the generous announcing team said ,”We felt so bad for him, because he did everything right — except catch the ball. And then the fans booed him, but they did it in a good-natured way.”
