Atlanta police issued an arrest warrant for ex-WNBA star Chamique Holdsclaw after she allegedly smashed the windows of ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lacy’s Range Rover. Holdsclaw also allegedly fired a handgun into the vehicle. Lacy, who plays for the WNBA’s Tulsa Shock, was uninjured in the confrontation. According to police, Holdsclaw is wanted on charges of aggravated assault, criminal damage to property and reckless conduct.
Holdsclaw, who hasn’t played in the WNBA since 2010, has suffered life-long bouts of depression, especially during her pro career, and once survived a suicide attempt in 2006. She was a member of three national title teams at the University of Tennessee, and was the #1 overall pick in the 1999 WNBA Draft.
