Timing is everything and Manny Pacquiao used every piece of leverage at his disposal to secure a mansion in Beverly Hills.
Not only did Manny shell out $12.5 million for the 10,000 square foot pad, he also threw in four tickets to his much-anticipated fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr.
Talk about a shrewd negotiating strategy. According to Martin Rogers of USA Today, the tickets definitely helped sway the sellers of the house:
“No doubt it helped,” Pacquiao’s realtor, Elsa Nelson, told USA TODAY Sports. “The sellers are great fans of boxing and of Manny, so it was a big deal.”
As for the mansion, it has seven bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a pool, a lounge area, a theater and a view that overlooks Beverly Hills. According to Complex, the house used to be owned by Jennifer Lopez as well.
