We’re not sure why it’s so stunning that Jordan Spieth talks to his ball, as you’d be hard pressed to find a single golfer in the history of the sport that didn’t whisper some musings toward his or her ball during every round. But for whatever reason, people are fascinated and/or amused with this compilation of clips from his record-setting performance at The Masters.
Now that Spieth is at the top of the golf world and he faces a level of attention typically reserved for the likes of Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy, the talented and humble youngster from Texas will likely be asked about anything and everything, including his tendency to talk to his ball.
Does he do it more than other professional golfers? Probably, but does it matter? Let the guy enjoy himself out there.
