New Orleans high school kicker Austin Means recently managed to hit a field goal from 50 yards out. While that may not seem that amazing considering that we’ve seen a young kicker nail field goals from 76 yards out this year, Means’ kick is particularly impressive thanks to his holder, Dylan Futrell, who holds the football with his tongue.
Means’ kick is nice but I think most of the praise has to go to Futrell, who braved injury and germs for the sake of internet virality.
