Dustin Johnson shocked the golf world on Thursday when he announced that he would be taking an indefinite leave of absence from the PGA tour to deal with “personal challenges.”
The world’s No. 16-ranked player suddenly withdrew from the Bridgestone Invitational on Monday, and some wondered whether it was possibly to spend more time with his wife, Paulina Gretzky.
But it seems his reasoning may be more serious:
