You know how you know that the downhill glacier race on a bike wasn’t a particularly good idea? When ten or so people immediately fall off their bikes and get run over right as the race begins. Tis your fate if you dare ride the Megavalanche race.
I’m all for keeping the competitive fire alive, but these guys really take their glacier racing seriously. The biker with the GoPro must have hit at least three people while filming his ride without even stopping to make sure they were alright. At one point, it even becomes kind of funny.
