Ochocinco heard about Sundays Bengals game was going to be blacked out because they couldn’t sell out the stadium. Being the generous and emotional man that he is, he immediately decided he needed to purchase the rest of the tickets so the fans who couldn’t afford tickets could watch the Bengals on TV. The NFL’s blackout policy has been in place since 1973 which states that a home game cannot be televised locally if it is not sold out 72 hours prior to its start time.
