The Chinese tech blog M.I.C. gadget has leaked pictures of what looks to be the rear case of the as of yet unreleased iPad 3. As you can see, it is simply a few millimeters thicker than it’s younger sibling the iPad 2 but, as we all know, Apple fanboys love both praising and complaining about the size of things so it should make for an interesting launch.
The thicker case is justified, however, when you consider the higher-resolution screen, the better battery and the improved rear-facing camera. Still, in an era where Apple has progressively made everything smaller, this time they are a bit overweight. I can’t wait to see what the Apple faithful say.
