Pop music icon Taylor Swift is of course known to be one of the most popular artists in the world. But her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, did his best impression of Swift on Friday morning.
Kelce opted to skip out on the ESPYS on Thursday night in favor of attending the Charity Karaoke Event of the American Century Championship, a charity golf tournament with many big-name celebrities.
The star tight end picked a bit of a different genre than his girlfriend performs, instead choosing to sing the popular song from British rock band Whitesnake called “Here I Go Again”.
Travis Kelce skipped the ESPYS to give this epic rendition of the Whitesnake classic, Here I Go Again, at the @ACChampionship Charity Karaoke Event.
Here is his performance in full. He forgot some of the words but he definitely wasn't short on theatrics.

It wasn’t the most professional performance from Kelce, as he missed a few words in the song. But the effort was quite clearly there, as he really got into it as an on-stage presence.
This was enough for him to be named the winner of the karaoke event, which prompted Kelce to give his girlfriend a shoutout when speaking about the performance.
“Taylor, this is for you! I love you guys,” said Kelce.

Kelce obviously doesn’t hold a candle to the kind of show that Swift puts on. But Kelce can always say that he won this charity karaoke event, an honor that Swift hasn’t yet accomplished.
That doesn’t mean Kelce should start going on tour and performing with Swift anytime soon. But at least Kelce has a bit of bragging rights when he returns home and sees Swift in the future.
