Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher, aka The Flash and Cyborg in the DC Universe, were asked which Marvel characters they’d play if given the choice and surprisingly the duo answered.
Speaking at Wizard World Philadelphia, Miller and Fisher made surprise choices with their Marvel selections. The former chose the older version of Nick Fury, because of his love of the character in the comics.
“I’ve said this before, I’d love to play [Nick] Fury. I’d love to play an old—a different version than the current version—but like an [older guy]. I loved those comics when I was growing up. I loved like really scary war [stories], with a traumatized, like morally injured Fury.”
Fisher, meanwhile, didn’t stick in the MCU – choosing a Fox Marvel character instead – the Wolverine.
“Can we pick outside the MCU? Can I pick an X-Man or an X-Person?” Fisher asked. “I’d probably want to play the Wolverine.”
So, there you have it. Miller would play a war-torn Nick Fury, while Fisher would dawn claws and be Wolverine. I’m sure both DC and Marvel fans alike will react to the choices with rational, thoughtful discussion.
