On Thursday night, presidential candidates Donald Trump and Joe Biden took part in their first debate of the presidential election season, but not everyone was impressed by what they saw from either candidate. And that seems to include former Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III.
In a post on social media on Thursday night, 2011 Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III did not hold back his frustration with both candidates as he expressed his displeasure at the age of both Donald Trump and Joe Biden.
“My God, this Presidential debate proves that we need younger presidential candidates,” Griffin said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.

Biden is the older of the two candidates as he is 81 years old and will be 82 in November, shortly after the 2024 presidential election. Trump is not all that far behind him, however, as he just turned 78 years old earlier this month, making him a little older than Biden when he was campaigning for president around this time in 2020.
Biden is the oldest president in United States history, taking office at 78 years old back in 2020. He passed Trump, who was actually the oldest president when he took office at age 70 in 2016. If Trump wins the election, he will once again be the oldest president to take office.
