Last week, former United States President Donald Trump was booked at an Atlanta jail in Fulton County, Georgia due to charges relating to his alleged attempt to overturn the 2020 presidential election. Shortly after Trump was booked, it was revealed that the former president listed himself at 6-foot-3 and 215 pounds. And one boxing expert is quite skeptical of these claims.

During an interview with The New York Daily News this week, iconic fight promoter and boxing insider Larry Goldberg was asked his thoughts on Trump’s size and weight, given his expertise with weigh-ins throughout the years. And he did not hold back when calling out Donald Trump for his lie.

“It was clearly not an athletic commission-certified scale,” fight promoter Larry Goldberg jokingly told the Daily News.

Goldberg said Trump’s 215-pound claim was about 40 pounds less than he would expect someone of Trump’s appearance. Had this been a fight, Goldberg said the New York State Athletic Commission might ask to see video evidence of a new weigh-in if someone Trump’s size claimed to be 215 pounds.

All in all, Goldberg found it laughable that Trump tried to pass off as 215 pounds.

“If I was a betting man, I’d go all in on the over,” Goldberg joked.
