I saw the hit which Jonathan Ericsson levied on Bryan Bickell of the Blackhawks happen in real time, and thought is was a big one. Now watching the replay, I realize just how big it was. Bickell is no small man at 6 foot 4 inches and 233 lbs, yet he was reduced to a very small man after taking the check from Ericsson. Check out the replay and you can almost see those little birdies circling around his head as he tries a few times to get to his skates.
