The Tampa Bay Lightning unveiled a new alternate jersey this weekend and it’s dull. With the team set to open the regular season in less than two weeks with a 4-game homestand, they were apparently seeking to give fans a little build-up excitement, especially with the Bucs uneventful start to 2014.
While the simplicity is refreshing, it just looks like a D-III hockey or high school jersey:
