TSN broadcaster Ray Ferraro had a close call in between the benches during Tuesday’s night Canucks-Penguins game in Vancouver and, although he narrowly avoided getting clobbered by an on-ice collision, his cup of coffee didn’t make out so lucky.
As Penguins defenseman Olli Maatta and Canucks center Benn Ferriero collided just in front of Ferraro, Ferriero’s stray stick sent the cup of joe sailing through the air and crashing to the ground at Ray’s feet, where it exploded on impact.
