During the offseason, many athletes turn to other sports and forms of competition to help them stay active and in shape while away from their day jobs. NHL players Brad Marchand of the Boston Bruins, Alex Grant of the Anaheim Ducks and Andrew Bodnarchuk of the Los Angeles Kings decided to give rugby a shot to disrupt the repetitive nature of offseason training.
The trio joined their conditioning coach JP MacCallum and several others for a friendly game of touch rugby on the Halifax Commons back in July, and it looked like they had quite a good time. Check out the highlights in the video above, which, not surprisingly, also features a bit of trash talking.
