The Los Angeles Kings brought the physicality right out of the gate in Game 4 on Wednesday night, laying some big-time hits early in the game. That’s usually a good thing, except when those hits are thrown on your own teammates.
Trevor Lewis and Dwight King, both Kings, had this brutal collision after some miscommunication in the offensive zone during the first period in New York. The impact was violent enough to send King’s helmet flying off, but fortunately neither man appeared to be seriously injured as a result of the blooper.
