The San Antonio Rampage players can’t seem to stay out of the news. Just over a week ago, forward Scott Timmins found himself drunk and passed out on a stranger’s couch, and now his AHL teammate is making headlines after getting his face stepped on by a skate. Andre Deveaux, the first NHLer born in the Bahamas, went down to the ice after taking a high stick to the face from Texas Stars winger Toby Peterson. As he lay on the ice, his own teammate Nolan Yonkman accidentally stepped on his face, causing a serious gash that sent him to the hospital. Fortunately, the Montreal Canadiens draft pick was released from the hospital on Tuesday night…50 stitches later.
Warning: This footage is not pretty.
