Peyton Manning might throw bobbling ducks on 75 percent of his passing attempts but at least the 39-year-old quarterback is willing to lay down the hammer on one of the most physical defensive backs in the game.
During the Broncos’ hideous win over Cleveland, not only did Manning attempt a block on Donte Whitner during a Ronnie Hillman run, but he actually executed that block. Granted, it had zero impact on the play but it was still a bit baffling to see Manning flatten the Browns’ safety:
