Week 2 of the NFL got off to a rough start for Washington Redskins fans, as Robert Griffin III appeared to suffer a left ankle injury during a first quarter scramble against the Jaguars. As he went to plant the left foot on the run, the ankle appeared to give out from under him.
RG3, who has had some difficulty staying healthy in his young NFL career, appeared to be in a pretty large amount of pain and had to leave on a cart, so it will be interesting to see how serious the injury is.
UPDATE:
The fear is #Redskins QB Robert Griffin III has a dislocated ankle, source says. There will be tests to confirm. But obviously not good news
