Miami Dolphins star quarterback Tua Tagovailoa has dealt with a lot of injuries throughout his football career, and it sounds like he’s now facing another one.
Ahead of this week’s showdown against the San Francisco 49ers, it sounds like Tua Tagovailoa has been hampered a bit after he suffered a hip injury.
According to a report from FinsXtra, Tagovailoa was limited in practice on Wednesday as a result of the injury.
“Tua Tagovailoa was a limited participant in practice today due to a hip injury,” FinsXtra said in a post on X, the social media website that was formerly known as Twitter.
Needless to say, this is some brutal news, especially considering that Tagovailoa suffered a dislocated right hip at Alabama back in 2019, and it sparked a lot of reactions on social media.
“Force him to retire,” one fan wrote in a post on X.
“This is why he didn’t go for the tackle after that interception. Dude hurt his hip on a previous play,” someone else said.
“Every time he has a bad game it’s a concussion or an injury. Dolphins in full spin mode,” another fan wrote.
“Did he aggravate an old injury???” another fan pondered.
“Season is over anyways. He shouldn’t be playing,” someone else said.
“Look at him run after the interception in the last game…. I knew it,” another fan wrote.
We’ll have to see whether or not he is able to play on Sunday.
