The Kansas City Chiefs are 4-0 and one of their most important pieces is rounding into form.
Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce had the breakout game he was looking for all season on Sunday against the Los Angeles Chargers. Kelce went for seven receptions and 89 yards in the victory after only totaling eight catches and 69 yards in the first three games.
Unfortunately, Kelce’s breakout game came amid relationship drama. There has been increased speculation on Kelce’s relationship with his superstar girlfriend, Taylor Swift, after she missed two of his games in a to, instead of cheering him on from her usual suite.
However, it doesn’t seem like Kelce is too stressed about her missing games.
Kelce is making a major career move, possibly in preparation for his next career move after football. According to Athlon Sports, Kelces’s FX horror series “Grotesquerie” premiered on Wednesday, in what is his first serious TV acting job.
Kelce isn’t stopping there either. His TV career took another major step forward as the trailer for his next show “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity” dropped.
The show will premiere on October 16 on Prime Video. A spin-off of “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader,” the show will feature contestants competing for $100,000 while Kelce hosts.
There’s no telling how much longer Kelce will play in the NFL, but he’ll be well-positioned to make the transition into TV whenever he does decide to hang the cleats up.
