Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce faced a pretty horrifying situation this weekend when someone made a terroristic threat against him and his teammate Patrick Mahomes on social media, threatening to shoot them at a Morgan Wallen concert over the weekend.

According to a report from TMZ, a man by the name of Aaron Brown took to social media to threaten the lives of both Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes if the two of them were brought on stage at the Morgan Wallen concert.

“Mr. [redacted] at Arrowhead with the wife. If he brings out [redacted] or [redacted] I’ll take the (expletive) shot. (Expletive) em!” He added: “Also, (expletive) you (expletive)!! [hand emoji with middle finger],” the post said, according to TMZ.

The two star players were indeed brought on stage with Wallen and Brown was in attendance, but it seems that police handled the situation swiftly and brought Brown into custody.

“It was a stupid, stupid, stupid mistake,” Brown said about the incident, according to TMZ.

It’s not clear whether or not Kelce or Mahomes were ever in any real danger, but police certainly took it seriously and the horrible situation certainly led to a lot of reactions on social media.

Brown’s bail was set for $15,000.
