Over the past several months, Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce and pop sensation Taylor Swift have become one of the most prominent couples in both the sports and entertainment worlds alike. But as they navigate a new and very high-profile relationship which clearly means a lot to both of them, they still have their careers to worry about.
Travis Kelce does not necessarily want his relationship with Taylor Swift to cause a distraction – or even the appearance of a distraction – to his football career. As a result, he does try to keep some things a little bit private. But he also understands that given how “special” his relationship is with Swift, it naturally attracts some curiosity.
“With that being said, I do, you know, have a guarded approach to it,” Kelce explained according to Us Weekly. “But at the same time, I know what me and Taylor have is special, so I get [the interest].”
It’s clear that Kelce very much values and prioritizes his relationship with Swift, but he also cares greatly about his career and his team.
But so far, he’s been doing a great job of balancing both. We’ll have to see if that continues.
