Over the past year, Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end Travis Kelce and pop sensation Taylor Swift have become perhaps the most famous and notable power couple on the planet, and it sounds like they could be about to take that relationship to the next level.
This week, the entertainment news outlet Page Six reported that Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift will be engaged soon, citing an inside source, reporting that Kelce “has a plan in place” to pop the question to his pop star girlfriend.
“The engagement is happening soon,” the inside source told Page Six.
In a shocking twist, it sounds like some who are close to the situation think that the couple is actually secretly engaged already and are just waiting for the right time to make it public.
“On Thursday night at a Kansas City concert by country star Morgan Wallen, we hear that the wife of a top Chiefs exec was overheard telling pals in a suite that the team’s famed tight end and Swift are already engaged,” Page Six wrote. “It’s unclear if it was a slip of the tongue — or if the exec’s wife was simply echoing online scuttlebutt.”
Regardless, this is some pretty shocking news about perhaps the most famous relationship on the planet, and it led to a lot of reactions on social media.
God at this point just please do it, sell the wedding doc to Disney and let’s just move on already. 🤦♀️ https://t.co/T4RxV6I9SI

It’s worth noting that Page Six reached out to Kelce’s representatives who denied the report, but that’s to be expected given the situation.
