Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs star tight end Travis Kelce seem to be building what looks from the outside like the perfect relationship, but it sounds like even they are having at least some conflict as they try to work out the beginning stages of their love story.
According to a report from Life and Style Magazine, Taylor Swift has placed some rules and restrictions on Travis Kelce that he is not necessarily happy about.
“Travis is fine with Taylor giving him her thoughts and opinions on how to navigate such a public relationship. He really does appreciate it,” a source told Life and Style Magazine. “He’s not so happy with some of the restrictions she wants in place, though.”
While some of the reported “rules” make sense and Kelce is happy to oblige – like avoiding strip clubs, for example – Kelce isn’t necessarily happy about all of them.
“Taylor also doesn’t want him posing for photographs with female fans, mostly to avoid inaccurate headlines,” the source said. “He had to roll his eyes at that one.”
Swift has always had a very curated public persona, but it sounds like that doesn’t necessarily jive with who Kelce is as a person.
“But he has no interest in playing a calculated media game if it’s going to make him think twice about every move he makes. That’s not his style,” the source said.
It sounds like it’s a bit of a clash between who they are as people. We’ll have to see how they handle it.
