Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce recently signed a contract extension to become the highest-paid tight end in all of football. And according to recent reports, a significant portion of that contract could be going toward his mother, Donna Kelce.
Donna Kelce had the pleasure of watching not one, but two of her sons flourish in the NFL. And all of the support she has offered for them over the years seems to have paid off in a major way.
According to Travis, his mom’s dream is to own a vineyard in Italy, which he very much plans on providing her with. TMZ reported on Friday that Travis is in “negotiations with several investors” on potentially buying a vineyard for around $3.5 million.
Obviously, for someone like Kelce who has made upwards of $100 million throughout his NFL career on his contract with the Chiefs alone, which doesn’t even account for the numerous endorsements that Kelce is a part of, this isn’t the biggest investment in the world. But it also isn’t insignificant whatsoever.
Regardless, it has to be worth every penny for Kelce to be able to give his mom her dream. Especially considering all the years of support and all of the hands she played in the early portions of his life.
