Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell suffered a very gruesome injury late in his team’s division-clinching Week 17 win and although the hit by Reggie Nelson was technically clean, there are some people very fussy with the Bengals safety, including Mike Tomlin.
The Steelers head coach was seen having a heated conversation with Nelson on the field immediately following the game. The exact nature of the exchange cannot be determined without better audio but unless Nelson did something else to infuriate Tomlin, it’s pretty clear why the two were speaking.
