The Washington Redskins made a moderately surprising draft pick when they snatched up Iowa guard/tackle Brandon Scherff with the5th over pick in the NFL Draft.
Noted troll and Twitter enthusiast Skip Bayless immediately took to Twitter to toss a somewhat passive aggressive shot at the ‘Skins by saying: “RG3 says THANK YOU. New Scherff in town in D.C. at left tackle. Great pick. #WASpick.”
This Tweet immediately called out two definitives according to Skip: 1) that the ‘Skins current left tackle is garbage and 2) that Scherff will line up at left tackle. Well, the Redskins Twitter account woke up on Friday morning and felt it would be good to put Skip in his place, and we love that they did. You can see the exchange below or here.
