Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift are still in the early stages of their relationship together, and it sounds like Swift has put some rules in place to help make sure everything goes smoothly.
According to a report from Life and Style Magazine, Taylor Swift has some pretty insane rules and restrictions for Travis Kelce that he is not exactly a fan of.
“Travis is fine with Taylor giving him her thoughts and opinions on how to navigate such a public relationship. He really does appreciate it,” a source told Life and Style Magazine. “He’s not so happy with some of the restrictions she wants in place, though.”
One big rule, apparently, is that Kelce is not supposed to receive any attention from other girls. This obviously includes strip clubs, but it’s a bit more extreme than that.
According to the Life and Style source, Kelce “is fine not going to strip clubs anymore (that’s one of her hard rules), but Taylor also doesn’t want him posing for photographs with female fans, mostly to avoid inaccurate headlines,” explains the source. “He had to roll his eyes at that one.”
It sounds like Swift also likes to keep tabs on where Kelce is and who he hangs out with.
“Friends claim that Taylor has asked Travis to FaceTime her, not just text, when they’re apart,” the source said. “She didn’t overtly say it, but she secretly wants to see where he is and who he’s with. Taylor’s a good judge of character and fears that some of his buddies are red flags.”
But even if Kelce doesn’t love the rules, it sounds like Swift thinks they’re for the best.
“She doesn’t want to control him — just help. He’s under a microscope now, more than ever,” the source said “Taylor loves Travis and thinks these rules will help things with their romance, as well as his career, stay on the rails. They’re both committed to doing whatever it takes to make their relationship stronger.”
