Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce will soon be asking for Taylor Swift’s hand in marriage, according to an explosive report from gossip magazine Page Six.
“The engagement is happening soon,” a source told the outlet.
However, the outlet also noted that rumors are currently swirling the couple is already secretly engaged.
“On Thursday night at a Kansas City concert by country star Morgan Wallen, we hear that the wife of a top Chiefs exec was overheard telling pals in a suite that the team’s famed tight end and Swift are already engaged,” Carlos Greer and Eileen Reslen wrote for Page Six.
Kelce’s representative, however, has denied the rumors that he’s engaged or on the verge of asking the big question.
However, Page Six has previously reported that Kelce began shopping for the “perfect ring” back in December, and that he asked permission from Swift’s dad, Scott, before he asked for his daughter’s hand in marriage.
“Scott has been asked for his blessing and has wholeheartedly given it, and Travis has been talking to friends about a ring,” a source close to Kelce declared.
Swift, meanwhile, is reportedly spending a lot of time in Kansas City as Kelce prepares for the season.
“Taylor is going to be spending a lot of time in Kansas City,” a source told Page Six.
